When asked if I would write a testimony for Lily’s Love, I was more than grateful to do so.  My daughter, Sophia had dances since she was three years old.  When she was in fourth grade, we moved to Georgia and the first thing we looked for was a dance studio for her.  We hit the jackpot when we found CK DanceWorks!  I had no idea just how lucky we actually would be until our world crumbled out in front of us.  Right before Sophia’s Junior year, we lost one of the most important people to us, her dad and my husband.  He was our sole provider, our rock, our protector, our whole world.  I had no idea how I was going to afford to keep her in dance.  I was a stay at home mom that quickly had to find a job.  Although I did, it did not pay nearly what we were bringing in with my husband’s income.  Lily’s Love stepped in and provided a very generous scholarship that helped us pay for dance.  That financial burden was lifted off my shoulders.  My daughter needed this constant of dance in her life.  Those hours she was at dance, I could breathe!  I knew she was being loved on and was doing what she loved.  I honestly don’t know how I could ever thank CK and Lily’s Love enough!  Dance literally saved my girl and kept her loving life. I will forever be grateful!

I lost my husband unexpectedly in 2022 and all I could think about was my daughters. He loved to watch them dance and never missed a competition or recital. There were so many expenses that I needed to cover and I didn't want to take away my daughter's joy, which is dance. Lily's Love scholarship program gave my daughters the opportunity to continue dancing. I can't find the words to express my gratitude for this amazing program. I'm so very thankful for the Lily's Love scholarship as it truly makes a difference.  Thank you CK Dance Works for creating such a positive community and for offering dancers a chance to dance. Lily's Love came alongside my family and me during an unimaginable event that impacted our lives and brought everything that we knew as "normal" to a sudden stop...I was the victim of a mass shooting on May 3rd of 2023.  Lily's Love took immediate action to support my family during our most challenging days, blessing us with monetary donations as well as an outpouring of love and support from our CK family and community.  In the months that followed, Lily's Love blessed me again with a scholarship to the CK Yoga program, which has been instrumental in my physical and mental healing.  Lily's Love flawlessly activates and provides resources and support to the community in times of need.  I'm forever grateful for what Lily's Love has done for me and my family and I love that they will continue to sprinkle goodness to positively impact the lives of others!  Thank you, Lily's Love, you're making an incredible difference!
